About me

I'm Reza, and welcome to my personal website. I'm a Ph.D. researcher at the Christian Doppler laboratory ATHENA of Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (AAU), Austria, advised by Prof. Hermann Hellwagner and Prof. Christian Timmerer. My research is focused on Computer Networks, Multimedia systems both in Networking and End-to-End aspects, Next Generation Networks (SDN, NFV, MEC, SFC, P2P), Computing Continuum, Parallel and Distributed Systems, Optimization, and Learning-based approaches.

I received my B.Sc. in 2014 and M.Sc. in 2019 from the University of Isfahan, IRAN, and the University of Tehran, IRAN, respectively. During my M.Sc., I worked with Prof. Naser Yazdani and Prof. Mohammad Ghanbari at the Router Lab of the University of Tehran.

During these years, I also worked in the computer networks field in different roles, e.g., network administrator, ISP customer support engineer, Cisco network engineer, network protocol designer, network programmer, and Cisco instructor (R&S, SP).
